Psychology Professor at East Tennessee State University; Associate Director of Research in the ETSU Ballad Health Strong BRAIN Institute; President of Uplift Appalachia, a nonprofit focused on equipping local churches to address addictions, mental health challenges, and other life struggles. I've spoken across the US and several foreign countries about the intersection of trauma and addiction.
