
Musa al-Gharbi is an assistant professor of Communication, Journalism and (by courtesy) Sociology at Stony Brook University.

He's done interviews with NPR, USA Today, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Slate, Reason, Mic, Voice of America and many other outlets to contextualize current events. His research has been featured in stories for Bloomberg, New York Magazine, Times of London, The Intercept, Foreign Affairs and more.
He consults policymakers, business leaders, non-profits and activist organizations in the U.S. and abroad on issues related to his areas of expertise, and is an in-demand public speaker at universities across the country and beyond.
