I am a Professor of Clinical Psychology at Drew University and a 2025-2026 Segal Center fellow at HxA. My work: the role and skills of affect regulation in the service of constructive dialogue and constructive disagreement; facilitating conversations on challenging topics among students, faculty, and administrators; constructive disagreement, constructive dialogue, and civic education; and how constant connectivity and "digital detoxing" impact connection and engagement.
