Geoff Horsman is an associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Wilfrid Laurier University, board member of the Society for Academic Freedom and Scholarship, and co-chair of the Laurier HxA campus community. In addition to promoting and defending free speech and open inquiry on campus, he has been working to shed light on the insidious effects of compelled political speech on science—especially statements affirming DEI ideology that are required to obtain research grants in Canada.
