Philosopher exploring the concept of lived experience

Patrick J. Casey is a philosopher who specializes in philosophical hermeneutics (the philosophy of interpretation), philosophy of religion, social and political philosophy, and philosophy of psychiatry. He's published peer-reviewed essays on the concept of lived experience, standpoint epistemology, the definition and rationality of religious belief, the classification of psychiatric disorders, and the use of the public education system to foment political change. He's also published public-facing essays on a wide array of cultural and educational issues, including science and religion, DEI, civil discourse, and more.
